Local experiences

  • Local & Classic Eats

The Buka Restaurant, Osu, Accra – A beloved local spot for authentic West African dishes (think hearty jollof, plantains, stews). I always get the Goat Pepper Soup and Grilled Tilapia w/ Jollof Rice

The Neem Grill – Casual & tasty grill joint with a Ghanaian twist — perfect for midday bites.

Irie Yard- This place can expect to see me at least 3 times each visit! Make sure you go after 3pm for the best chance at the oxtail! The jerk chicken and cabbage is so good too!! You literally can’t go wrong!

Deijha Vu- This is a food truck offering all the classic Jamaican dishes to go! It’s an affordable and reliable option that I absolutely recommend!

Stylish Spots & Date Night Vibes

Le Petit Oiseau – Chic French-inspired cuisine with a romantic vibe — ideal for dinner out.

Sky Bar 25 Restaurant and Bar – Rooftop vibes, sunset views, and cocktails that make the Gram.

Bistro 22 – Classic choice with a great mix of international flavors and local favorites.

Kōzo Restaurant – Japanese + sushi done well, perfect when you want something different.

Bella Afrik- Authentic Italian Cuisine offering dope vibes, live music and great drinks! It’s a must stop every time I’m in Ghana.

Shogun- Offering authentic Chinese, Thai and Japanese cuisine. You’re sure to see me here at least once during my visit. I’ve tried so many dishes for the first time here! Their menu is expansive but they deliver every time!!

Ritual- This place is that sweet sweet combo of cozy café by day and vinyl-spinning cocktail lounge by night. I love to go here and just chill out and soak in the R&B vibes. It’s a good reset for my nervous system!

    Chill & Social

Tunnel Lounge – Lounge meets restaurant. Great for drinks, bites, and vibes.

The Lenox Bar & Restaurant – Stylish spot with excellent drinks & food for groups.

El Padrino Lounge – Sleek setting and great for late nights.

    Brunch Spots

Rose` Garden- Whatever you do, this HAS to be a stop. The food is everything!! I haven’t had a bad meal but whatever you do, get the chicken.

La Gardenia- This is great for a cute girls day! They offer bottomless mimosas and an outdoor setting fit for all your pic for the gram.
