travel tips
Jordan Pass saves money — it includes your tourist visa + entry to Petra and other sites.
Petra is massive — wear sturdy shoes and go early to avoid heat and crowds.
The Dead Sea is extremely salty — never shave 24 hours before swimming.
In Wadi Rum, pick a Bedouin-run camp for the most authentic (and ethical) experience.
Dress modestly in Amman and smaller towns to respect cultural norms.
Carry cash — many small vendors don’t take cards.
