travel tips

  • Jordan Pass saves money — it includes your tourist visa + entry to Petra and other sites.

  • Petra is massive — wear sturdy shoes and go early to avoid heat and crowds.

  • The Dead Sea is extremely salty — never shave 24 hours before swimming.

  • In Wadi Rum, pick a Bedouin-run camp for the most authentic (and ethical) experience.

  • Dress modestly in Amman and smaller towns to respect cultural norms.

  • Carry cash — many small vendors don’t take cards.
