travel tips
Uber is your friend here- It’s super cheap, and it’s the easiest way to navigate the city.
Bring a jacket or layer up- The weather changes through the day
You absolutely need at least 5 days- We barely skimmed the surface in the 5 days we were there.
Rainy season is between June and September- The best time to visit is in spring, between March and May
From my experience, most restaurants are reservation-only, so plan accordingly
The street food is bomb- A rule of thumb is to eat when the locals eat to avoid eating food that has sat for a long period of time.
Visiting Grutas de Tolantongo is my #1 recommendation for your visit.
